On private land adjacent to a wild area of Iberá park, between lagoon and primary forest, set out to encounter caimans and howler monkeys. A unique opportunity for the latter, which are difficult to meet in the public areas of Iberá park.
Start with a short walk under the pines to reach two majestic trees, 700 years old. Panané means "that smells bad when burned" in Guaraní.
Continue your discovery through a beautiful grove of preserved primary forest, habitat of several families of "howler" monkeys. You'll definitely encounter them!
Board a kayak to gently explore a typical lagoon of Iberá's flooded areas, with its floating vegetation islands, water lilies, reeds and very rich wildlife.
Yacarés are numerous in the lagoon and very easily visible. Don't worry, these small-sized caimans feed mainly on fish and present no danger to humans.
The kayak outing takes place at Laguna Dos Hermanas, at Campo San Gerónimo. We handle your transfers from the city of Ituzaingó. All our adventures are available in activity packages, and are carried out in small groups (unless requested otherwise). Contact us to learn more!
